In the end of January 2026, I was super proud to have given my first seminar in the United States at the Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Department at the University of Florida, Gainesville. I presented an overview of our research on insect pollinators in disturbed environments, focusing on bees, apoid wasps, and hoverflies, and the local ecological challenges they face.

A huge thank‑you to Prof. Ben Baiser and Prof. Eric C. Hellgren for the opportunity to share this work and to highlight the excellent contributions of Belgian scientific teams on the international stage.
